Praneet Reddy is a music producer, composer, orchestrator and pianist who specializes in composing original scores and songs for Film & TV. 

Praneet grew up in constantly changing circumstances, moving from city to city across the US East Coast and South India, studying classical piano, writing music for local music festivals and playing bass for various funk/alt rock bands. He soon realized one common thread during his time spent with the locals on this dichotomous journey between cities in different countries - whether the local biryani vendors in Hyderabad, the rafters up on the whitewaters in Massachusetts, or the swarms of first-generation immigrants in downtown hubs in New Jersey - no matter their native tongue, how much money they had or where they lived, everyone had a story worth hearing and the one language everyone understood in every corner of the world was music. 

Realizing this power of storytelling and music, and his love for the various sounds and cultures of the world, Praneet studied musicology in The International School, Bangalore before moving to Boston where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music (Film Scoring) from Berklee College of Music in 2018. During his time at Berklee, Praneet also served as the President of the Film Scoring Network and spent his summers as a business designer/music tech innovator at IDEO/MIT's joint summer lab (Open Music Initiative), and as an additional composer for Emmy-winning film composer Bear McCreary at his post-production house/record label (Sparks & Shadows, Inc.) based in LA where he received hands-on experience working on notable network TV shows, games and major motion feature films.  

Praneet currently works as a freelance producer/composer in India doing independent contractor work providing additional music for feature films and TV shows (currently airing on ABC, Amazon Prime, Starz and Netflix), producing music by himself and collaborating with other up-and-coming artists.  Known for his highly collaborative approach where he deeply involves artists and directors in the process of finding the sound for their story, Praneet is able to create a unique sonic world that translates the director’s vision to musical form.
